W. A. Moeur  Family, cont.

The history of this house after 1955 to 1984 is sketchy and
seem to be here say.. There are not a lot or should I say documents telling about the history to date..
We have heard that the house was used as a sorta flop house for several years. With all kinds of parties,
drug usage, orgies, rapes, suicides, and even a couple of murders.  The one main murder was a girl in the
upper front bedroom.  She was strangled to death by an unknown person.  This person to this date has
never been caught.. They said after this she was haunting the upstairs. She was seen in the upstairs
bathroom mirror looking out at who was living up there.
She might even be the ghost that haunts the house today.!!
Today this location is know as Casey Moores, (which is funny, Elizabeth Casey Moore, never lived here or
any of the Moore family), but one of the owners who originally bought the location
liked the name..!!
It is now considered one of the true locations in Tempe that is known for its ghosts, voices, moving objects
and fantastic food.
Casey’s is considered to be a 4 out of 5 star restaurant and bar,
they have the best prime rib dinner (after 6pm on Friday and Saturday) and of course those Sunday prime
rib sandwiches..
So if your hungry for some really good food overall and want to possibly experience some paranormal
activity, Casey Moores is the place to come too.
